Swiss Clinic Skin Resculpting Treatment

This Treatment is a micro-needling treatment designed for use on the body (as opposed to the face). Developed to get rid of cellulite, stretchmarks and other scars, the treatment is ideal to use as preparation for a beach holiday or the summer season, according to Swiss Clinic. The package includes: skin roller (1200 surgical steel microneedles, 0.5mm long) and cryogel body serum (100ml). Retails for around $100, but each component can also be bought separately. I personally love microneedling. However, if you are afraid of doing it on your face, try it first on your body (there are always risks with any such treatment, so follow the instructions). Don't forget to disinfect the roller. I do it both before and after use. Do it on clean skin, disinfect it if necessary. Use the roller for 5 minutes (2.5 minutes on each leg), going in different directions. Don't press too hard if it hurts (you need to build up tolerance, although it won't be as unpleasant as on the face). Take time. You can go higher onto your behind area, if this is desired. Apply the serum after. Tip: apply hyaluronic acid right before going in with the roller. Pros: after the treatment, the serum will be sinking into the skin. You will feel really cool (i.e. temperature wise) where you have applied it. You will feel how deep the serum is getting inside your skin. Cons: build up tolerance to needles. It is not painful if done on the legs, uncomfortable at most. Results are not visible from one try. Would recommend? Most women have cellulite (irrespective of your weight, although there is some correlation). You should follow up this treatment with a hydrating body lotion, eat well, exercise, massage your legs, do cupping. But yes, I would recommend it.

Swiss Clinic Face Perfecting Dry Mask

One mask retails at around $20, which at first might seem like a lot. However, the one mask is actually usable for 3 treatments, so it actually is reasonably priced. We have never tried something like that. How can a completely dry mask (not hydrogel) make the skin feel so nourished after? Well, the answer is WST. Wearable Skincare Technology. The active ingredients have been embedded in the textile fabric and due to the biomimetic delivery system, it adapts and fits comfortably to the contours of your face. Upon contact with the skin, the active ingredients are released and begin to penetrate the different layers of the epidermis. You are supposed to massage the face (when the mask is on), to activate the ingredients and let them penetrate the skin. We have used our face massager from The Body Shop, as shown on the picture. Highly innovative product. A must try.

Swiss Clinic Self-Tan Drops (15ml for £49)

In Sweden, these drops can be bought for around $30. These drops are preferably to be used in the morning, either by itself or added into the moisturiser. They work well-- I put them directly after the toner onto the skin. I let it dry down for couple of minutes, and then continue with the essence. The only problem: the dropper is horrible. If you use it, then it will splash out the product (it doesn't come out as drops, it splashes all over).

Swiss Clinic Hydrating Self-Tan Pads (UK: £39; Sweden: ca.$25)

I really don't know why these pads are so significantly cheaper here in Sweden-- maybe because almost every Swedish girl self-tans? Don't know. Anyway, I am extremely fair skinned. Some foundation brands don't even cater for my light shade. So, with summer in mind, I decided to start self-tanning a bit-- at least on my face-- to look less like a White Walker and more sun-kissed like Cersei (probably not the best comparison, but you get the point). I use these pads 2 times a week during my evening routine (there are 25 pads in the jar). I wipe the pad all over my face straight after putting the toner. Then, I wait for 15 minutes to let it completely set and then continue with my usual skincare routine. I love that my face doesn't look dry nor streaky. In the morning, my face is gently sun-kissed and I look more like a human.
