Too Faced Born this Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer ($29 for 15ml)
I mean, I must give it to Too Faced -- this is definitely the cheapest $/ml concealer. I have seen so many people rave about it on YouTube, it's nuts. But I have also seen quite a few negative reviews, so it was time to test it. 20 shades -- not too bad. It is supposed to last for up to 12 hours, and it is said to be hydrating. Okay, so my thoughts are as follows: it works on me, to my very big surprise. Mostly, I use it as a light coverage foundation, however, because my under-eyes normally need more. And it sits beautifully on my skin. However, I tried another shade on my mum (who has drier skin), and it looked horribly dry under her eyes. So, bottom line is -- you need to try it in store before you buy it. It's a gamble. For me, it paid off, but it might not pay off for you.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette ($49)
With 18 creamy shades, this is a great palette to create a neutral everyday look. Of course, a night look can also be created, however, it will probably be a simpler brown smoky eye. Smells of peaches. Pinks, corals and browns. Easy to blend, good pigmentation, no to minimal fallout. Both mattes and lighter shimmers (not crazy ones). Would recommend? It's a great palette if you want to showcase a natural side of your beauty. We love that coral colour! But does it beat Huda's Nude palette?
Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Eye Shadow Palette ($49)
This is Too Faced's holiday edition palette from 2018. Constantly sold-out. Smells of vanilla (to our nose). 18 shades. Predominantly warm. Buttery. Mattes and metals. Would recommend? Let's us say, we don't normally lean towards this palette because of a slight odd combination of colours in it. Plus, warm tones...how many warm tone palettes can you make? But that's more a matter of taste. It is good quality though.
Too Faced Hangover Primer (40ml, $34)
Light cream texture. Supposed to: -Hydrates and boosts skin's radiance -Promotes skin's elasticity - Soothes and smooths the skin It is a good hydrating primer, everything else, to date, cannot be confirmed. Is it better than Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched base? Find out in the upcoming Sister battle.
Too Faced Melted Matte-tallic (in Sugar Kisses)
We have said before, we will say it again: we generally do not like liquid lipsticks. But this one is actually slightly different due to its soft velvety texture that feels super comfortable on the lips. It feels great, however, it looks drying, so we put a bit of Fenty Beauty lipgloss, and it lasts for a long time, while our lips look juicy. The colour of this one is actually beautiful-- fits super well with our rather pale complexion.
