Filorga Optim-Eyes Eye Contour Cream (15ml for £42)

Again, this eye cream was part of the 2 week trial kit. So, these are the claims made by Filorga: - Anti-dark circle: A unique complex that reduces dark circles by promoting the elimination of pigmented residues. - Anti-puffiness: A powerful active ingredients boost the venous and lymphatic circulation to reduce swelling in the lower eyelid. - Anti-ageing: Hyaluronic acid + NCTF®, replenish tissues. A trio of draining active ingredients smooths the eye contour for a fresher appearance. Again, this is a more liquid-y eye cream than what I like. It sinks in super fast, and I don't really get any sense of hydration from it. If you are after a dark circles "remover" eye cream, please try Goldfaden MD. I have not found anything better than that yet. Don't get me wrong, it is not the worst eye product I have tried. But it is definitely not the best. I find Drunk Elephant's eye cream or Paula's Choice one better. At least, they feel more hydrating. So yeah, overall, I am unfortunately not convinced about this product.

Filorga Time-Filler Absolute Wrinkles Correction Cream (full size 50ml for £44)

I have received this 15ml tub as part of a free gift (2 week free trial kit). Guess what? It will not be enough for 2 weeks! I have never used up a cream so fast (granted, I used it day and night-- there is a bit left but it will last exactly a week if I use it up). Filorga claims that it is "Botox in a jar", but to see any results, you will need to use this product for at least 28 days. Which begs the question: "Why include it in a 2 week kit?". Clearly, in those 2 weeks, you will not see any results in relation to the wrinkles. Whoever thought it was a good idea to include the cream in the kit might want to take a marketing course next time, because this is bad marketing! From my side, I can definitely say that this cream is not enough for my skin. Again, another cream that is not designed for drier skins. It is more liquid-y, sinks in super fast, and after 2 mins, you wonder whether you put any cream on. So, if you have oilier skins, you might want to explore it, but otherwise, stay clear. Obviously, to talk about any impact on my lines and wrinkles is unnecessary-- the cream doesn't work that fast to see any results.

Filorga Anti-Ageing Micellar Solution (400ml for ca $25)

I mean, do you really need Micellar Water for $25? Don't get me wrong, this product isn't bad (although it doesn't remove all of the mascara-- but for a non bi-phase solution, it's still pretty good). Yes, it has the Filorga scent, yes, it has Filorga written on it, yes, it is gentle and doesn't irritate the eyes. But $25? If you say "yes", I will not judge you (I totally will).

Filorga Oxygen-Glow Cream (50ml for €36)

Oxygen-Glow is Filorga's new line of products designed for skins younger than 30 (according to the Filorga rep, according to the website, you are okay to use it until 45). The packaging is absolutely beautiful, I am digging it big time (I do like bulky things, especially when they are pink). But does the content inside live up to the packaging? Let's see what Filorga promises us with this product. "Filorga's Oxygen Glow Radiance Enhancing Crème works on all imperfections in real life and guarantees a fresh and sublime complexion. Daily use makes it possible to act on the first signs of age. The face is plumped, wrinkles of expressions smoothed. As soon as it is applied, the complexion is visibly illuminated. Imperfections such as redness, pimples, blackheads, scars are blurred". I can say it simpler for you: it's a pink cream that provides slight radiance to your skin. However, this is not a cream for dry skins. Although the cream is smooth, it is not really hydrating. In fact, dry skins may potentially be dried out further. Having said that, oily and combination skins-- that might be the cream for you! Overall, I don't hate it, I am just not super impressed. Yes, it is Filorga's cheapest cream but this is not Filorga quality.

Filorga Sleep and Peel (full size is 50ml retailing at £45)

It's Filorga time! I have now tried this product for a whole week (every other day), and I am actually impressed. Last week, I started getting breakouts, and this cream really did an amazing job soothing them and not allowing new spots to form. So, what's inside? A cocktail of 6 hydroxy-acids (AHA and BHA) combined with soothing brown algae to gently resurface the skin. You put the cream on directly after your toner-- you bypass all of the steps in between. That way, the exfoliation will be deeper. One thing I will say though-- the next morning, try to gently physically exfoliate your face. After the second use, my skin was still getting rid of old skin (aka flaking). But a physical scrub removes that (I know, it is harsh, doing a physical exfoliation after a chemical one, but otherwise, your creams will start flaking). Overall, a great product, especially for those with oilier skin types.

Filorga Oxygen-Glow Eyes (15ml for ca.$35)

The whole Oxygen-Glow is designed for people under 30 years, just so you know. With oxygenation booster, hyaluronic acid and detoxifying L-enzyme to reveal a flawless eye contour, day after day. A hydrailluminating texture integrating Photoperfector HD technology for an instantly enhanced eyes effect. There is a reason why I got 4 sample sachets of this cream-- I said to the Filorga sales assistant that the whole "illumination" effect of this cream is fake because it is just these shimmer particles temporarily masking things. It's like, if you waited your yellow stained teeth with white paint-- yes, they would look white, but underneath, they actually are not. Otherwise, when it comes to moisturisation-- nothing special that would justify the price.

Product review:

Filorga Foam Cleanser (150ml for £20)

According to Filorga, it is "the first anti-ageing cleanser that dissolves the slightest traces of sebum, make up and pollution while intensely hydrating the skin and protecting it from free radicals. In addition to an ultra-gentle latest generation surfactant of plant origin, it features the following guest stars: high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, well-known for its moisturising properties, smoothes dehydration fine-lines and Madonna Lily, which soothes irritation and protects the skin from free-radical attacks". I must say, those claims are rather "up there". I generally do not like foam cleansers. For some reason, I never feel like the clean my skin on a deep level. I don't particularly feel this way about this product, however. My skin does feel clean enough to use this product on its own in the morning. However, I don't think it is that economical. I seem to have used up quite a bit already, so a bottle may be enough for 30 washes or so. You can definitely buy cheaper products that will last you longer.

Product review:

Filorga Hydra-Filler Mask (£10)

Yes, it is a hydration sheet mask basically soaked in hyaluronic acid, with an addition of aloe vera and Natural Moisturising Factors. To no surprise, this mask did indeed hydrate. It was soaked in that serum and easily would last at 30min without getting dry. I don't really have anything bad to say about it-- it does exactly what it shouldn't. However, isn't it cheaper to buy a whole bottle of hyaluronic acid for this price?

Filorga Hand Absolute (50ml for around $20)

This is Filorga's hand and nail (treatment) cream. It is not super thick, but is not super liquid-y either. Absorbs relatively fast. All those signs that it will not work on my dry hands...but to my surprise, I did not wake up with dry hands in the morning. According to Filorga, these are the cream's qualities: -Absolute nutrition: a repairing complex of exclusive butters is incorporated in a unique ultra-penetrating creamy texture that deeply nourishes the skin without leaving a greasy film. - Complete anti-ageing: an active ingredients trio containing hyaluronic acid, collagen and lipopeptide smooths, firms and plumps in a single step for visibly younger-looking hands. - Perfectly even skin tone: a rare clarifying sea Lily extract combats dark spots and restores an even skin tone for hands that radiate with a youthful glow. - Beautiful nails: a keratin booster stimulates and strengthens the nails, making them smoother, shinier and less brittle Regarding the anti-ageing and skin tone, we cannot attest to since those are more long-term results. However, it is a good moisturiser for the hands, and yes, the nails do look more naturally beautiful.
