Lancome Monsieur Big Marker
If you don't like thin liquid eyeliner pens, and want to make a bold line on your eyes, consider checking this eyeliner out. Retails at around £20. Lancome describes it as: "waterproof, quick-dry liner [which] stays put until you say when: up to 24H wear, yet easy to remove. Its jet-black pigments allows an ultra intense vinyl finish." For us, it took a bit of time to get used to this product. I mean, one wrong stroke, and you will paint your whole eye black. So practice! We personally will not repurchase. It is possible to achieve a finer line using the tip, but then we just go for another liner. What's your favourite liquid eyeliner?
Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara ($25)
This is definitely an above average mascara: it does lift lashes. However, if you are going for more dramatic look with heavily coated black lashes, this ain't it. The formula is rather thin, so the coating is rather light (in comparison to the one from IT Cosmetics). But the finished look is still beautiful-- just more natural.
Lancôme Hydra-Zen Yeux Eye Contour Gel Cream (15ml for £34)
Sometimes I wonder why such products exist. I love the Hydra Zen day Moisturiser-- I love it so much that I bought 75ml of it. Then, the night version was worse-- not for drier skins. And then, this. Why? This eye cream is of a gel-cream consistency (second picture). It is supposed to reduce puffiness and provide intense hydration. The cream doesn't promise more than that-- maybe for good. Now, I don't suffer from puffy under eyes, but I do suffer from dryness. Yes, the moment I put it on, the gel texture slightly cools the surface, and provides some temporary hydration. That's it. Nothing more. Very basic, generic, "nothing special"-- or any other word that could have "meh" as a synonym. Again, sometimes I wonder why such products exist.
Product review:
Lancôme Tonique Confort (full size 200ml for $30)
Lancôme's toner for drier skin types. It is of gentle pink colour and is of a thicker-liquid consistency. Interesting phenomenon: when you put the toner on a cotton pad, it feels thick on the skin, while if you put it just onto your hands, it feels much thinner and more watery. Made with honey and almond extract-- it does leave your skin hydrated and soft. I have no bad thing about it, but Lumene's pink toner feels very similar (also for dry skin) and is 1/3 of the price of this one. So, why pay more?

Lancôme Bi Facil (200ml for $40)
This is a double action eye makeup remover. "The lipid phase lifts off eye makeup, while the water phase contains special emollients to refresh and condition skin without a greasy residue", says Lancôme, basically referencing all bi-phase eye makeup removers. Indeed, it is really good-- but worth $40 for 200ml (I can see that the price in Sweden is a lot lower, but $40 was taken off the official Lancôme USA website). Right now, in Sweden, you can get it for as low as $16 (what a difference, right?). So, depending on the price, the product can be "worth it".
Product review:
Lancôme Hydra Zen Nuit (50ml for £44, full size)
I have the 15ml one, which I have now used around 1/3 of. The cream is of light pink colour. Personally, I think the texture is a bit more liquid-y than it should be for a night cream. It is a good moisturiser, but those with dry skin would still need to put an oil after it. I would say that this cream is good for normal skins. Oily skins would find it too moisturising. For me, I almost would say that my skin needs slightly more right now. The cream is rather simple (we can debate whether it is good or bad), but I will probably try it again closer to summer. Right now, I am simply not wowed (and I love the day moisturiser from the same line).

Lancome Hydra Zen Anti-Stress Moisturising Cream (50ml for $48)
Please note, this cream comes in a few different variants, but we are just reviewing this particular type. In a nutshell, it is a great moisturiser. There is a richer variant available too, but for a day moisturiser, this is perfect, or as we in Sweden say, "lagom". Lagom can be vaguely translated as "just right" or "just enough" (this is a completely off-topic comment, I know). It is of medium thickness, not too watery, not too thick. Again, lagom. Even as a night moisturiser, it works alright, as long as you put facial oil on top. Very hydrating, but in a way simple, and not "over-done". Oh, and this cream is often on some type of an offer, so I don't think you'll have to pay full price, if you are on a more calculated budget. Overall, this cream is amazing. The gel variant is suitable for normal to oily skin; the Rich variant for dry skin; this cream for normal to semi-dry skin. This formula is also available with SPF for day use.
