Briogeo Scalp Revival Shampoo

We have the smaller size, but this product normally comes in a 256ml tub and costs $42. We personally wouldn't use this shampoo every day-- in our opinion, it is more a treatment shampoo to be used 1-2 per week (unless you have an extremely itchy scalp). Charcoal deeply cleanses and exfoliates the scalp, while coconut oil nourishes. An extremely cooling blend of peppermint and spearmint oils reduces scalp itchiness and tea tree oil has anti-septic and healing properties that reduce scalp irritation and inflammation. Your head will feel like a freezer. This shampoo was definitely interesting, but it didn't leave our hair cleaner than on that one day. Would recommend? We think that if you have dry or itchy scalps, consider looking into this bestseller product.

Product review:

Briogeo Strength + Moisture Leave-In Mask (full size 118ml for £24)

According to Briogeo, this "mask instantly enhances hair health and is clinically proven to repair damage, leaving locks smooth and hydrated. Instead of coating the hair with silicones to give the illusion of healthy strands, this formula utilises the power of micro-encapsulated argan oil, biotin and algae extract to repair damage along the hair cuticle and enhance resilience". Hmmm... Hydrate? Mildly, in my opinion and the opinion of my hair, which we interviewed for this review. This mask feels slightly like a styling product in the hair-- it has some sort of a grip. It's not bad of a product, but it's not enough for my hair, and hence can be classified as "meh".

Product review:

Briogeo Deep Conditioning Mask (236ml for £30)

According to Briogeo, this product is "perfect for those with dry, damaged or chemically-treated hair, using this deeply conditioning mask gives stressed-out tresses some much-needed TLC every week – no despairing necessary". As per instructions, I had this product on my hair for 10mins. Then, I thoroughly rinsed it out. It is not the most nourishing hair mask I have had-- the effect reminded me more of a nourishing conditioner. It made my hair slightly more detangable but it also made it flat. Sorry, but this mask (and it seems like, Briogeo by enlarge) is not for my hair.

Product review:

Briogeo Super Moisture Shampoo (full size 473ml for £30)

Briogeo on the shampoo: "Fortified with Briogeo’s bespoke Don’t Despair, Repair! ingredients (including algae extract, panthenol, biotin and rose oil) this is the ideal cleanser for those with dry, damaged hair, who long for the hydration of a co-wash but require more thorough cleansing powers". Funny, the first time I tried it I thought it was pretty decent. Not Olaplex, of course, but it did feel a bit moisturising. After that, it went downhill. It started drying out my hair. Yup, so, yeah, that's the story. I am not going to purchase the bigger size-- nothing can beat Olaplex yet.

Product review:

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment (full size 30ml for £27)

Designed for dry, flaky and irritated scalps. "Binchotan charcoal draws impurities from the scalp and hair follicle to remove build up. Cooling peppermint, spearmint and tea tree oils reduce itchiness and offer healing antiseptic properties to reduce inflammation. And as if that wasn’t enough, super vitamin biotin provides essential nutrients to the hair follicle to support healthy hair growth", according to the brand. You only need a few drops. I first put it into my palms and then massage into the scalp. The scalp gets a quick cool feel from it, which almost immediately disappears. I personally have a slightly dry scalp, and since I am currently not using anti-dandruff shampoo, I decided to use this treatment instead. And no, I don't have any dandruff yet, which is nice.
