Hylamide Low-Molecular HA (30ml for €16)
Alright, alright, if you are in Canada (which I technically am), one has to write a review on a Deciem product. And what product this is! My first bottle suspiciously only had less than 25ml in it, and after contacting the company, I have received a second bottle of this booster. Now, I have not investigated whether this booster actually has low-molecular hyaluronic acid -- the only thing I hope is that the company is not lying on that fact. The serum is similar in thickness to The Ordinary HA (so, thick), but it does leave my skin super hydrated and plump. I really enjoy this essence/booster and would recommend it to anyone who likes a thicker consistency.
Hylamide Pore Control (30ml)
Retails at around $21, this is a multi-functional serum that reduces the appearance of pores, shine, congestion and impurities. Hylamide is the slightly more advanced sister of The Ordinary (with NIOD being the most advanced one). It includes: - Bitter Mushroom Concentrate: Pores appear to disappear quickly both in number and size with this biotechnology derivative from a very bitter mushroom. - Marine Ferments: Polymeric derivatives from marine algae balance out the shiny appearance associated with congested skin types, without drying out the skin. -Pistacia Lentiscus Tree Resin- Encourages both the look and feeling of skin purity for a comfortable surface. - Surface Balance Peptides: Two peptide technologies (chains of amino acids) improve skin texture appearance without the added shine that normally results with alternative skin renewal methods. -Niacinamide: To help skin look free of shine and sebum congestion. To be applied at the serum stage of your skincare routine. Personally, we haven't noticed any visible reduction in the size of our pores. We mainly apply it in the T-zone area and cheek area closer to the nose (where pores are the biggest). However, we believe that the amount of impurities in that area has decreased. We will be continuing our usage of this product-- we are intrigued.
