Huda Beauty Tantour (£26)
Now, with Huda, it can be either a hit or a miss, but thankfully, this is/was a good product. It's a creamy tanning and contouring cream to be best used with her double-ended brush (which is really good). I normally apply it on certain areas (the edges of hairline, cheeks and chin corners) while my face has no other makeup on. Then I smudge it over with a bigger brush. Where I need a lighter shade (e.g. chin, under eyes, neck, forehead centre), I put on foundation and work it in and get rid of any clear lines of the smudged Tantour. Result: healthy looking contoured face. After that, I put on a bit of concealer, and set my face with powder. Blush and highlighter can be applied after that. This product is easy to work with. It is pigmented so little goes a long way. The only thing I wished is that the tone of the cream was "colder". Right now, it has a slight orangy-warm undertone. But that's my only criticism.
Huda Beauty FauxFilter Foundation (shade 120, $40 for 35ml)
Oh boy. I have never met a foundation with more mixed reviews than this one-- you either "hate" it or "love" it. There is rarely an "in between". Huda Beauty has grown considerably fast-- I have a slight crush on the Kattan family-- but it's really sad to see how many surgeries they already have had. Nice ladies, inflated faces. Of course, when they released the foundation, everyone was super excited. And of course, the initial reaction from fakestagrammers who received it in PR was "oh so positive". Then, the general public started "really" trying it and that's when the real flaws came out: it is very drying; you should not touch it after application because you will end up with patches etc. What made me cringe the most was how much foundation the fakestagrammers would put on their face. This is NOT a foundation you need much of. Literally, a pea size amount is enough for the whole face. If you are putting large amounts of it-- I am not surprised it will look cakey on you (because it is a very thick and concentrated foundation). You really need to work this foundation into your skin (I use my round thick RT brush for it, and it works just fine). I never set it with powder-- it's drying as is. One super thin layer gives me medium coverage, which is more than sufficient. It is definitely not my favourite foundation. However, I don't hate it either-- you simply need to know how to use it. If you set it with powder, you cannot touch it again. It has it's flaws, and it is better suited for those with normal to combination skin (not super oily skin though). Overall, would I recommend it to my best friend? Probably not.
Huda Beauty The Overachiever Concealer (in Marshmallow)
Retailing at $30, Huda promises "full coverage creamy concealer, armed with skincare actives and a cooling zamac tip". Furthermore," the formula works to disguise the appearance of dark circles, redness, hyperpigmentation, age spots, and discoloration with a beautiful luminous-matte finish". Unlike what the name suggests, the concealer is actually an Underachiever. These are its "not so pretty" sides: - it dries the under eye area, making us look older - creases - is in fact a medium coverage (we know a full coverage one when we see it) - the zamac tip isn't that great for this formula For this reason, we will not recommend this product.
Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick (in Wifey) Retails at $20.
Dries down fast, but doesn't leave the lips cracking dry. We actually put the Dior Holo on top of it, and they work beautifully. In fact, Wifey is a bit too beige for us-- so a bit of pink makes it a very nice nude colour. We also like how it is long lasting and comfortable to wear. Respect, Huda!
Huda Beauty Matte & Metal Melted Shadows (Minted & Dinero) (£22)
Huda, Huda... Damn you for that striking mint colour! We simply had to get it (didn't get any of the other ones though-- we have already too much pink). But here comes the BUT. Huda, darling, check your quality before you put your name on something and sell it. That shimmer shade is awful! It starts cracking and falling apart after 5 minutes of wear, while the matte shade lasts for ages. We are sorry, Huda, but paying £22 for one matte shade is not okay.

Product review:
Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in Angelic ($18 for full size)
The colour of this is very nice: a nice nude pink with gold hints. I think, the lipgloss is silky, sits nicely on the lips and is very enjoyable in wear. I have the mini version, as I bought it as part of a set, together with another matte shade, but I also like to wear it on its own. It doesn't disappear from the lips immediately.

Huda Beauty Power Bullet in Joyride ($25)
Huda's new release of matte lipsticks had me at a debacle: on one hand side, you want to try it; while on the other side, the shades seemed far too dark for my liking. Anyway, I caved in and bought the lightest shade (according to their photos), which is still ultra-dark for me. This shade is also a lot more brown than what it looked like in the photographs. The texture is creamy, its a thick kind of cream. It is very pigmented, and does glide on easily. It is very comfortable in wearing. I personally put another pinker lipcolour on top to make it more rosy-brown, which actually looks very nice. Then I top it of slightly with a lipgloss. And that stays for a good while.
