Jeffree Star Cosmetics Magic Star Setting Powder ($22)
I didn't have high expectations for Jeffree Star Cosmetics, but oh mama I was wrong. Jeffree meant business! Available in 8 shades, this is an ultra fine and soft formula. I also like the packaging -- the inner lid is rotatable, making it travel friendly. It holds foundation super well, without showing off any dryness, oil, caking etc. It feels relatively non-existent on the skin. When I bake with this powder, it might feel a bit tight around my smile lines, but the feeling does disappear. The only problem is the smell: it literally smells like cotton candy, and because it is so fine, you will accidentally breathe it in... I guess my lungs have some deposits of this powder now, but oh well. Would I repurchase? Very likely.
Jeffree Star Cosmetics Concealer in C6 ($22)
Although this was inspired by Sailor Moon, this is not a Sailor Moon wand/tool. However, I wouldn't have been surprised if Sailor Moon liked it. So much drama surrounding this concealer. C5 was stolen-- so C6 is the closest I could get, and it surprisingly fit me well (shade wise). When I swatched C1-C4, they were literally white. This Concealer comes in 30 shades, which is of course, great. You get 3.4ml of product in it-- which, on average, is a lot less than with other concealers (not even taking into account the 15ml of Too Faced). But this doesn't bother me too much. I am just putting it out there. Overall, the coverage is good, it blends well, and doesn't really dry out my under eyes. Definitely better than Tarte, but a mili-inch worse than Fenty (C6 and Fenty's 150 are very similar in everything). I still can't say that it is as full coverage as It Cosmetics, but full coverage is not always necessary. In conclusion: Jeffree definitely did a good job and I am definitely satisfied.
