Function of Beauty Customised Shampoo and Conditioner (for Sweden, small size set costs $47, in the US, it's $10 cheaper, plus, shipping, $7)

As you remember, I was asked by a few people to review these products. At the time, I thought that was a "great idea". But that was at the time. Together with shipping, these two products cost the same as an Olaplex set of shampoo and conditioner (which is not customised). So, my comparison will be based on that. I have paid full price for the product, no promo codes have been used. You can see my "wishes" and my hair characteristics in the photo. I was not wishing something out of the field of rocket science. Okay, how to put it mildly? It's terrible for the price you pay-- yes, I have the right to say that because it is actually a customised product created for my hair type and needs. The shampoo is super watery, but you do use quite a bit of it in one go because it doesn't feel very concentrated. I was so unimpressed when it tangled up my hair! C'mon, I told you I have fine hair-- and yet, obviously, it doesn't work for fine hair! The Conditioner? Hahaha a $10 The Body Shop conditioner might do a better job conditioning my hair than this! And yes, I chose hydration and deep conditioning-- is that the best you can do, Function of Beauty? Have you seen the ingredients list, especially for the conditioner? That's a very looooong list, I must say. I mean, I honestly feel like this whole thing is mainly marketing-- it's great that we have can have different coloured shampoos and conditioners with different scents and then proudly display "our" creations on IG-- yohoo! But seriously, we aren't 10 years old, right? Olaplex, on the other hand, especially the shampoo, is so nourishing, doesn't tangle up my hair, and is super concentrated-- nope, you are still my Holy Grail.
