Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist (40ml for $48)

I feel like Tatcha is laughing all the way to the bank with this product (and probably, they are generally laughing all the way to the bank). 40ml of a mist for $48 -- no offense, but I paid less for my 50ml Biologique Recherché toner. So... It has around 20% of botanical oils, Okinawa Red Algae, hyaluronic acid (hyaluronic acid is expensive these days, sarcasm intended), and Tatcha's famous Hadasei-3 Anti-aging complex. It also has some fragrance. You can use it before applying makeup, or after (or just without makeup). It has a slight luminousity to it. Honestly, it's not the best hydrating mist if you follow the instructions and only do 2-3 spritzes. But it's nice, if you don't look at the price. However, you might get a heart attack if you do look at the price.

Tatcha The Water Cream (50ml for $68)

I have to give it to Tatcha-- the hype they create over their brand is massive. Everyone wants a piece of their products-- it's unreal, especially in Europe (because they don't have a European distributor). But just because it's Tatcha doesn't mean it's automatically good. This moisturiser is designed for normal to oily skins-- a statement I most probably can disagree with. I currently have normal skin, and this cream is definitely not enough for me. It feels slightly drying too. Hence, I would personally only recommend it to oily skin types. Another thing: Dr Dray did an amazing break down/review of Tatcha products in 2018. Go and see that video on YouTube. She does talk about the fact that this cream is not suitable for those with sensitive skin (due to the inclusion of gold, botanical ingredients, tin, titanium dioxide and alcohol). Overall, this cream didn't meet my needs. I believe that there are other similar products (that feel like water on the skin) at a much more affordable price. But since it's Tatcha, it deserved at least a pretty picture.

Tatcha Violet-C Radiance Mask ($68 for 50ml)

Close your eyes. Imagine. Exquisite restaurant, dimmed lights. Candles. Opposite you sits a gorgeous man. He is tall-ish (but not too tall), he is superbly dressed. He is super intelligent, kind, and yet funny. He has eyes on you. Only on you. You eat the best food; he explains to you the difference between Southern France and Bordeaux wines. He has a nice manly yet soft voice. He calms you down, and yet still keeps your heart racing. Alright, please open your eyes for now, and let's talk about the mask. So, Tatcha. Packed with the Japanese beautyberry (I lived in Japan for 4 years, never knew of its existence-- according to Wikipedia, beautyberry is not just found in Japan); 2 types of Vitamin C; and AHAs (10%) from 7 fruits. It's a great mask-- smooth on application. It leaves your skin super even-toned after. I didn't see much glow or real softness, but that "even-toned" effect is superb. So, what does it have to do with our gorgeous man? This mask is exactly like him. Gorgeous, kind, attentive to you. But what you don't know about that guy is that once the night was coming to an end, he slipped to the bathroom and you never saw him again, leaving you with a relatively big bill to pay by yourself. Just like the mask. But was he/it worth it? For that period of time you were with him/it, it totally was.
