L'ORÉAL Infallible 24h Stay Fresh Foundation (15 Porcelain)
This foundation is not matte, thank God. It is actually of a beautiful dewy-satin finish. It smoothes out the skin and makes it look flawless, without making it look cakey or flat. It makes you look naturally gorgeous. Does not settle into lines until the 10h mark-- and only slightly. Makes you look fresh. We are huge fans of this foundation, which for $18, delivers a lot more than high end brands. We set it slightly with a powder. We do two coats, however one has to use quite a bit of product. We recommend it strongly! This is absolutely amazing. We have tried so many high end foundations this week, and this was by far the best. Or as our job-wife says, "that foundation is absolutely beautiful!"
L'Oréal Infallible Fixing Spray (ca. $10)
When it comes to fixing sprays, the market really spoils us, doesn't it? We know that this spray received some negative feedback because it left little white dots all over the face. Didn't have a problem like that here-- you just need to shake it really well. Well, what is the best way to try it, I thought? Of course, with the corresponding foundation (L'Oréal Infallible). We all know that the primary function of such sprays is to extend make up wear. Personally, I think this spray didn't do that at all. The foundation started rubbing off on the chin at the 6-hour mark as always. Maybe, we are just spoiled by Smashbox and Fix+, and we compare everything to them. Maybe. But furthermore, I didn't like the short sprays that it does, and they are quite strong. Your face doesn't feel hydrated after, it feels slightly sticky. We will finish this product, but we will definitely not repurchase.
