NARS Sheer Glow Foundation (30ml)
This foundation retails for $47, and promises to give you a natural-looking finish. Except, it doesn't. It accentuates your pores (even with a pore primer), and makes you look older than what you actually are. The coverage is indeed buildable, but even one would provide you a good enough cover. It is also upsetting that a $47 foundation doesn't come with a pump. For this reason, we would not recommend this product.
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30/ PA+++ (50ml for £31)
This is what NARS has to say about this product: "The advanced, oil-free formula provides a translucent veil of colour and gives a radiant, luminous finish in a spectrum of 12 versatile shades. Offering advanced sun protection, it shields your skin from the sun’s harmful rays, while also reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation and dark spots in as little as four weeks. Infused with lush, naturally derived botanicals, it helps skin to feel hydrated and encourages a bright, natural-looking glow; kopara from French Polynesia and mineral-rich sea water revive and ‘remineralise’ skin for a softer, smoother finish". For a tinted moisturiser, it's amazing. Like, really, get it. It provides light to medium coverage, depending on whether you put on 1 or 2 layers. Definitely buildable. Good pigmentation. Smooth finish. Long lasting? Hmmm: Perfect cover for about 5 hours, after that it can get a little more wobbly. But if you lightly set it with powder, you can get it up to 10 hours, and that's pretty good. You will look natural, not caked up. However, in my opinion, you need to be a bit more careful with the application of contour, bronzer and blush. The base it creates is a bit unstable, and these extra products don't apply super smoothly on top. Otherwise, it's great.
