Tata Harper Reparative Moisturizer (full size 50ml for $116)
Sorry, what? $116? Ummm... Tata, I think you went a bit "tu-tu". Anyway, I was blessed to try 10ml of this "magic cream", which I got in a Tata set. Worry not, 10ml was more than enough to understand what I think about this product. It's a lighter, more liquid, cream, bordering a lotion in consistency. 3-4 pumps is what I used for one use. Because it was rather liquidy, I only used it in the mornings before makeup as, for me, it did absorb relatively quickly. I don't have too many complaints in relation to the consistency. But the smell -- that's another story! Why did the product smell like herb-infused petrol? Really unpleasant. I understand that Tata Harper tries to use natural ingredients, but c'mon, did no one smell the product?? Anyway, too expensive, nothing special, smells bad.
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask (full size 30ml for £54)
Tata Harper clearly knows how to overcharge people. I mean, for 30ml, the price is...ahem...high. This is not a mask for sensitive skins, according to the description. According to the brand, these are the main ingredients in this green-glass tub: "Beet extract promotes hydration in the outer layers of skin to increase elasticity; white willow extract gently exfoliates, relieves redness and refreshes the skin’s appearance; aloe vera naturally stimulates healthy cell growth while repairing damaged tissue and witch hazel helps soothe inflammation whilst protecting against the harmful effects of environmental aggressors". Now, the consistency is slightly jelly like, the mask is with a hint of red. Once it dries, it creates a film on your face. Glowing skin after it? Yeah, maybe, but not too much. Nothing that The Ordinary cannot do with their "blood" peel. Overall, I am personally not seeing the hype of this.
Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence (available in 50ml for £59, or 125ml for £77)
Look at these prices! Just look. For a Essence Mist! I don't want to go yet into the specifics of the product yet, but are they mental putting such prices on? Will they be able to justify it? Let's find out. This is what Cult Beauty has to say about it: "ideal, ultra-lightweight moisturiser for those with oily or congested skin types, as well as being a nutritive moisture boost for those with dry, dehydrated skin types, or frequent flyer’s who need something to resuscitate their skin mid-flight. A quick spritz is perfect for toning and hydrating skin post-cleanser, or to refresh your face and enliven your make-up throughout the course of the day. The non-greasy finish grants a dewy, luminous radiance and with only the finest natural ingredients, there are no alcohols or harsh astringents to compromise your skin’s delicate balance". Let me rephrase the last paragraph: "bla bla bla blaaaaa". You understand, right? You mix rose water, aloe leaf juice, lavender water, add Hyaluronic Acid, and you basically have this spray. Congratulations, now you can sell it for £77! I would not call it a mist, it's a proper (strong) spray, which soaks you up in no time, and you wait it to dry for 5 more minutes. The smell doesn't bother me, it is slightly floral-- nothing special. Yes, the spray nozzle does leak a bit. Best of it, once it dries down, you don't experience any real hydration on your skin. It's not a bad product-- it didn't break me out, but it is super average. I get more hydration from my Avéne thermal water spray, which is a lot more affordable. So, overall, I will never pay such high amounts for an average product like this. No, sorry.
