Sensai Balancing Hair Conditioner ($25-30 for 250ml)
Recommend for dry hair, this product promises to do quite a bit. Let's get through some of the more exciting promises: hydrates and nourishes hair and makes it silky soft; gives a healthy shine; strengthens and repairs. Promises, promises... Reality is that the bottle is pretty cool and has an "alien" vibe to it. What's inside is pretty mediocre. I would say, the Fuji Green Tea conditioner from The Body Shop does a better job. It's alright, as a conditioner, thankfully I bought it for half the price, but hey! I think one is paying for the brand and not really what is inside here.
Sensai Glowing Base with SPF 10
This beautiful Made in Japan beauty (30ml) retails for around $50. According to Sensai, "Glowing Base has a liquid texture with pearlescent pigment that reflects light in an absolute amazing way, and evens out skin tone while being the perfect first step to uneven, long-lasting makeup". Problem is that the foundation comes after. If you are using a full coverage foundation, this glow will be well covered up. So if you want to, a tip is to mix it in with your full coverage foundation. Or use light to medium coverage foundation. The only "priming" characteristic it has is the fact that the base is hydrating. It doesn't fill in any pores, just so you know. Alternatively, you can just mix it in with your moisturiser, if you don't wear foundation. This glow base is not as glowy as a drop of the Iconic highlighter, however, so if you have these drops, you can essentially achieve the same effect. Overall, an expensive product that we will continue using but which would probably not repurchase.

Sensai Translucent Loose Powder (20g for $45)
After reviewing Sensai foundation, I was very sceptical to try another product from this brand. After all, it ain't the cheapest. Let's see what Sensai tries to promise us with this product: "This powder provides a mild light-reflecting effect and fixates your makeup, for a silky-smooth finish and optimal comfort. Translucent Loose Powder gives a great result no matter foundation choice, and the translucent shade provides an even finish for all skin tones". I am extremely surprised by this product. I will even go as far as saying that as an under eye setter, it is better than my Holy Grail It Cosmetics' one. Yes, I said it. It Cosmetics' loose powder has one minus-- it is too white and leaves that whiteness on the skin. This product does not do that. Yes, it highlights slightly, but it will fit more skin colours due to its true translucent nature. Bravo, Sensai!

Sensai Flawless Satin Foundation SPF 20 (ca. $50)
Sensai says the following about this product: "Packed with light-diffusing powders, this creamy formula replenishes skin with refreshing, sustained hydration for a naturally gentle glow, clarifies the skin tone and delivers flawless coverage". For me, Sensai means something high end. At least, this is the image that I have of them in my head. Here is the reality: - only 9 shades in the range (huh?). The lightest one is still a tone too dark for me, and I don't have the palest of skins - foundation starts separating on the chin at the 6h mark - watery cream consistency - your skin doesn't feel ultra-flawless - foundation settles into smile lines - it rubs of from the sides of the nose very quickly For these reasons, we do not recommend this foundation. It doesn't live up to my expectations.
