Maria Åkerberg Face Balm Supplement (10ml/50ml)
We must say, when we were buying it (it is a Swedish brand), we found it under the section "night creams", so we thought, "great, a very nourishing night cream for dry skin". We should have read the description a bit more thoroughly. It's literally a balm. And it's not a night cream. It's basically face oils in a balm format. So, once you figure that out, you start appreciating the product. It consists of cold pressed jojoba oil, beeswax, squalane, avocado fat, shea butter, Rosehip Seed oil, and another 10 or so oils. Great for mature and dry skins.

Maria Åkerberg Eye Makeup Remover (full size is 125ml for $15)
Let me remind you, Maria Åkerberg is a Swedish organic skincare brand. This is eye makeup remover cream not gel, nor transparent liquid. And it's actually amazing! Didn't sting, very mild, but efficient. It removed all eye makeup in like 5 quick swipes-- now we are talking, Maria Åkerberg!

Maria Åkerberg Hair Conditioner (Liquorice) (200 ml (full size) for €20)
It's a shampoo that says "licorice" without it actually having licorice. Funny, right? It actually has fennel and rosemary, which combined smell like "licorice", hence they gave it a new name. Jojoba Oil and Fennel are supposed to add moisture and shine, but also have a cleansing and nourishing effect. Fennel gives the product its heat-protecting qualities. Honestly, out of thousands of different conditioners on the market, this would definitely not make the top 1000. It's not a bad product. It's just not memorable in any way. The conditioning effect does exist, but unfortunately it is super light.

Maria Åkerberg Body Scrub with Rosemary and Grapefruit (30ml for $3)
As I understood, this particular body scrub is only available in the small size, because the big size is with Cinnamon and Grapefruit instead. This scrub is made with apricot seeds and jojoba oil. It is of brown jelly consistency and it also emulsifies into a shower gel. Enough with the formalities. If you are after a scrub, please don't buy this. The scrub is extremely light. I have applied it on a dry body, and still couldn't feel almost anything.

Maria Åkerberg Hand Cream (Calendula) (100ml for $15)
(organic Swedish brand) I bought the 30ml travel size version of this product to try. By the way, I must say that Maria Åkerberg has a lot of her products in small sizes, which is absolutely amazing for trial purposes. I believe all brands should have that. Due to the Calendula flower, the cream is of a nice creamy orange colour. It is not too thick and not too watery. However, it does feel nourishing on the hands. There is, however, one major problem with this cream: when it dries down, it doesn't have any elasticity, so the cream sits very boldly on the hands. Unfortunately, hand creams do have to have that elasticity aspect in order to feel good on the hands. For this reason, I would not recommend this product.

Maria Åkerberg Body Lotion (500ml for €40)
For an organic Swedish brand, Maria Åkerberg is actually very reasonably priced. To some extent, one can say that "simplicity" is a key to the brand's success. This body lotion is designed for dry skin. However, I don't "lotion" is the right word. It feels more thicker, but not as thick as a "cream". It's somewhere in between. Overall, I really like how it didn't immediately soak in and left the skin dry again. It really hydrated the skin through the whole night. I am not too sold on the aroma, but it is nothing over-powering, so it makes the experience enjoyable anyway. My dry skin liked it, but then again, you might also find a cheaper product that gives you a similar feel on the skin.

Maria Åkerberg Salt Scrub White Chocolate (200ml tub for €35)
This is what is said about this product: "Salt Scrub White Chocolate has a delicious mix of sea salt, vegetable oils and white chocolate. Sea salt helps exfoliate, cleanse and remineralize the skin, while white chocolate adds antioxidants and helps calm the senses and provide a sense of well-being. The skin is left supple and glowing. Exfoliated and nourishes Contains sea salt and white chocolate Apply on dry or damp skin for desired effect" Yes, the scrub really smells like white chocolate. However, whether you apply it on dry skin or wet, for my liking, the scrub is too soft. My skin needs more. Having said that, the legs shaved well after it, so it obviously works well enough as an exfoliator. Overall, it's too expensive for what you get, however, the product does work well. It's just not my cup of tea.
