I Dew Care Ginger Aide Mask (60g for $19)
It's hard to find to this mask for purchase, from my googling attempts. This mask has ginger, yellow clay and kiwi seed extract, but also alcohol. It is supposed to brighten your complexion. Honestly, this mask tingles pretty strongly at first, so if you are sensitive to that feeling, it might not be for you. Another thing is of course alcohol, and, it smells like seaweed, which I am not a fan of. Overall, it's not a bad mask, but I am not overtly wow-ed by it.
I Dew Care Pure to the Pore Cleansing Volcanic Ash Clay Mask (full size 70g for $19)
According to the brand, this is the mildest clay mask in the line-- and that's clearly why I will not repurchase the full size. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad-- it dries down and stings a bit: all the things I look for in a clay mask (yes, I like it rough!.. ahem). But it's missing that punch for me. That punch that The Body Shop Himalayan mask has, for example. But if you want a gentler mask or have sensitive skin-- this is definitely a good product worth checking out.
I Dew Care Hang Tight Tightening Tea Tree Clay Mask ($19 for 70g)
I like my clay masks-- what can I say. As you know, I have finished the mini version of this mask couple of days ago, and when I was going through my containers, I noticed I had a full size one too. The formula is infused with tea tree oil and the mask does dry down (but I wash it off just before it dries down completely). I do not feel any tingling sensation from it (which I don't mind). And now comes the interesting part: the mask also has tiny scrubby bits in it for physical exfoliation. They are relatively small, so it feels more like microdermabrasion. I don't do physical exfoliation often, but when I do, I prefer smaller particles. Then I started reading the list of ingredients and noticed that those "bits" are walnut shell powder. I don't mind it, but we all know how much bad press Kylie Jenner got for her walnut scrub-- although, as far as I understood, the particles in her scrub were also small. I will continue using it (because it does provide good physical exfoliation), but the choice is yours whether you want to use walnut shell powder on your face or not.
I Dew Care Berry Bubbly Purifying Bubbling Berry Clay Mask ($19 for 60g)
To date, I have only tried 2 bubbling clay masks: the one from Elizavecca and the other one from Glamglow. The latter one performed better, it felt more cleansing. This one from I Dew Care is my third one. In addition to clay, this one has blueberries, which makes the mask slightly purple. Don't worry, it doesn't add anything else apart from colour to it. Why? Because the mask itself is completely useless. If you thought Elizavecca's wasn't too cleansing, this one beats it by a mile further. It's like you put it on, hold it for 10 minutes, and wash off-- literally no change at all to your skin. I really dew not care for this product, sorry.
I Dew Care Take It Easy Calming Calamine Clay Mask ($19 for 70g)
My skin does normally respond well to pink clay and its soothing properties, so I am always excited to try such products. Made out of Hawaiian clay, this product has a jelly type structure. For best application, use your hands, slowly breaking up the product before putting it on your face. My face has now broken out in hormonal acne (yaaay, not yaaay)-- and this product has been doing a wonderful thing keeping the redness and its "activity" at bay. Because of its texture, a little goes a long way, which is fantastic too. Overall, really enjoyed it.
