When you stick the eye gels, you immediately feel a cooling sensation that does continue on for the whole 15 minutes of wear. When I took them off, I wondered why my eye area wasn't too hydrated-- it was more firm, however. Then I went back to the packaging and realised that this is exactly what was supposed to do. Great!
