IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream (full size 60ml for £39)
Oh boy, I have probably never seen such a long list of ingredients as is found for this cream. Just for fun, go check it out! The cream is reasonably priced for "Western" cosmetics, albeit, of course, Koreans have more affordable options in place. This cream had everything: collagen, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peptides, ceramides. It almost feels unnecessary to have all of these ingredients in one product. The cream is good, albeit I don't find it very hydrating. Maybe the inclusion of dimethicone (3 times) bothers me subconsciously. Maybe it's the fact that because it has soooo many ingredients, none of them truly stand out and do something for the skin. Like, ain't a bad product, but you can get better for cheaper.
It Cosmetics Confidence In A Cleanser (full size 148ml for $28)
It Cosmetics produces good makeup products, so of course, the pressure was on when they also came out with their skincare range. FYI: this cleanser is made in Korea. This cleanser is of condensed milk colour and smells citrusy. It's basically designed to both cleanse your face and moisturise it at the same time-- leaving your skin soft and not-stripped. I personally think that this cleanser is above average. I like indeed that it doesn't irritate me (and my slightly irritated eye lid); I like that it is gentle. It performed well on the brush test. However, when it came to the brow-pomade-on-wrist test, it couldn't remove the last bits (removing only about 90%). Being sulphate and soap free, this cleanser will appeal to many, I am sure, although I do still think it's a bit too pricey.
It Cosmetics Confidence In an Eye Cream (15ml for £30)
Considering my recent battle with contact dermatitis around my eyes, I have become more picky with what I put around them. Let's make it clear, I don't really believe in all of these "anti-wrinkle" and "anti-aging" claims. For me, a good eye cream is the one that leaves the eye area looking healthy, hydrated and supple. After contact dermatitis left my eye area looking dry and old, this cream really helped me bring the area "back to life". Basically, the main active ingredients are: collagen, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peptides, a super ceramide complex, chrysin, liquorice root, avocado, squalane, Shea butter. The cream is of medium thickness and has a nice light peachy colour. It's not the best one I have personally tried, but it's definitely a very good product.
Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Concealer (8ml)
Illuminating full coverage concealer-- what could possibly go wrong? Nothing! Absolutely nothing wrong. Highly pigmented, waterproof coverage. Has skin-nourishing benefits and leaves a gorgeously radiant finish. It's true. It Cosmetics should start working on their shade range-- right now, it offers only 6 colours for this concealer. We use the lightest shade "Light". First, we squeeze a bit of the concealer onto our hand, warm it up by massaging, and then tap under the eyes. We smooth it out with a mini beauty blender. However, we also set with the brands' setting powder, at which point, the word "radiant" can be removed from the result. However, we get a beautiful crease-proof finish, which we totally dig. We really think that this is hydrating full coverage concealer that works wonders. You should definitely try it!
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro-Powder ($29)
Especially created for mature skins, this loose setting powder airbrushes you to perfection. This is our most-loved under-eye setting powder-- it is the only one that doesn't make our under-eye area look old and wrinkly-- just pure airbrushed flawless undereyes. With hydrolyzed collagen, and vitamins A, C, E & K. Leaves skin super soft. Would recommend? Absolutely and definitely yes.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer (8ml)
The brand states that the "provides waterproof, highly pigmented, long-lasting coverage that won’t crease, crack or let you down". With age-defying peptides, vitamins, hydrolysed collagen, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants. £24. This is the sister of the illumination one (pink). Medium to full coverage. One coat will give you a very good medium coverage (something that shape tape does after 3 coats). A second coat achieves full coverage (you need to let the first coat dry a bit). We always set it with the corresponding powder from the brand, and it is flawless. The tube is a bit empty, or at least feels that way, that's our only problem. We do recommend this concealer.
