Erborian BB Crème au Ginseng (in Clair) (full size $39 for $45ml)

A buildable coverage BB cream with SPF 20, with a whopping choice between three shades (Fenty Beauty fans just facepalmed themselves). But do not worry, the shade range is really the only bad thing about this product. "Claire" is far too dark for me on normal days, but seems to match perfectly when I self-tan. I generally hate BB creams-- most of them go streaky on me, I don't know why. Not this one though-- this one is soft and non-streaky, plus moisturises (thanks to ginseng) very well too (dry skins rejoice). I personally do not set it, but it has lasted me perfectly during the work hours, so I am actually pretty impressed.

Product review:

Erborian CC Crème in Clair (45ml for £38)

For almost a year, I have had this CC cream on my wishlist. Then, I read that the colours (only 2-3 in the range) are a lot more yellow, and hence, it is best to try it out first before buying. I am glad I received 2 sample pouches of this product. With Tiger Grass, honey extract and Vitamin E (and SPF).

The cream comes out white, and upon massaging into the skin, it turns beige-yellow-orange. Now, Clair was surprisingly not too dark on me (although, indeed, that orange hue is there-- and I am cold-toned). Overall, I can't say I am somehow super impressed by this product. Just an ordinary CC Cream with some skincare benefits. I would personally prefer a layer of a light coverage foundation instead, as it would actually do a better job at smoothing out redness and my complexion. Oh, and in my opinion, I don't understand why a CC Cream needs such skincare benefits-- a) would these ingredients actually sink into the skin? (probably not, since you will still put it on top of a moisturiser, which would not allow further access), and b) don't you apply all your skincare products before that anyway? And those who have Dr Jart+ Cicapair cream-- this is very similar, and hence unnecessary.
