Sonya Dakar Rose Gold Radiance Mask
The full size of this product (50ml) retails for a whopping £60. For that price, you get a silky, bronze coloured mask (well, or rose gold, but to us, it looks more bronze). So what is it supposed to do? What's inside? It is "enriched with a cocktail of pore-minimising, hydrating ingredients, [which] will leave your skin clear, smooth and enviably radiant. Detoxifying Moroccan red clay purifies pores to minimise their appearance; lactic acid dissolves dead, dulling cells on the skin’s surface to reveal the radiance beneath; white willow bark extract brightens; hyaluronic acid intensely hydrates and a copper peptide complex refines pores further". Alright, first, radiance. That one comes from the micro glitter particles, which your toner then takes off anyway. Moroccan clay doesn't cost that much to justify that price either. Neither does lactic nor hyaluronic acids. So, basically, it's a rip off. Meh, our skin looked very much the same before the mask. We will give it a pass.
