I'm From Rice Toner (150ml for $28)
With 78% rice extract. Supposed to help with elasticity and hyperpigmentation, although the latter claim I cannot attest to -- I didn't see much difference in hyperpigmentation. However, it's milky texture (that requires a shake every time) is absolutely lovely and leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished. I like these types of toners, so I have bought a few more. . Q: Have you tried any of these? What was your experience?
I'm From Mugwort Mask (110g for $35)
It has 2.1% ground mugwort (yes, very precise. Not 2.2%). Apart from mugwort, it has a bouquet of other extracts. Basically, it is supposed to cool and soothe, and although I have had my fair share of doubts about this ingredient, I can say that this mask works well on my skin. It does cool and soothe, so I bought a backup.
I'm From Rice Mask (110g for $28)
I cannot wait to finish this product as it is one of the least enjoyable face masks I have ever put on my face. If the product didn't have the rice hulls (the outer hard shell of rice), it would have been so much better, but the rice hulls are so abrasive, it's crazy! They are of different sizes, often uncomfortably piercing the skin. Finishing this, and never repurchasing
I'm From Fig Boosting Essence (150ml for $35)
Made with almost 63% of fig extract. Fig extract is amazing as an antioxidant and helps greatly with dry/ tight skin as it enhances skin's hydration. It apparently can also improve skin colour by fading dark spots, although this part, I have personally not experienced from this product. It's a silky essence that, like 100's of other essences, hydrates the skin but am I overtly impressed? Not really. It's just "yet-another" essence.
I'm From Ginseng Eye Cream (30g for $32)
With six-year old ginseng extract that is supposed to firm your under-eye area. Quite frankly, this cream isn't bad. It's relatively creamy, it's non-irritating for sensitive under-eyes, but I don't really see any benefits from it. Yes, it's great that it doesn't do anything bad, but in terms of benefits, it just moisturises the area and that's it.
I'm From Mugwort Spot Gel (15g for $16 off eBay)
There are products that are "meh", and then, there are products like these. This gel is made out of 90% pure Mugwort extract directly from the soil of Ganghwa, Korea. Smells herbally and sinks in fast into the skin. And then, it does absolutely nothing. Like, NOTHING (if needed, I can scream "NOTHING" for you so you can understand the real depth of nothingness). It is "supposed" to maintain sebum production, and soothe the complexion. Nothing of that sort. Nothing. NOTHING! If you go to the Oxford English dictionary, you will find a picture of this product under "Nothing". For $16, it's a crime. Where is my tea tree oil from TBS?
