Indy Beauty Refreshing Water Lily Facial Toner (200ml for ca. $10)
This is a toner I bought in a Swedish pharmacy. Indy Beauty is a Swedish vegan skincare brand. Now, to the toner. The word "refreshing" sums it up so well, that I can't even find a better word. I don't feel hydration from it, I feel refreshed. You might ask "well, what's the difference?". I will probably say "it's difficult to describe", but then, I would go further and explain it like that: you see, hydration is something you feel on your skin, while "refreshing" is something you feel with your other senses. In this particular case, it is the sense of smell that gives it that feeling. This toner is scented, and although Indy Beauty says the smell is "mild", I personally think it is rather strong for a toner. Imagine a mix between cucumber, watermelon and a hint of flower-- this is the scent. And that is so damn refreshing in the morning. You almost don't even care whether it hydrates your skin or not.
