Nuxe Face Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel Rêve de Miel (200ml for ca. $15)
Let us first look at what Nuxe has to say about this product. It describes it as "[a] gentle, soap-free make-up remover and cleanser with Honey and Sunflower cleanses, soothes and removes make-up in one go - whilst being kind to your skin". Unfortunately, this is not true. It's not a good makeup remover. Furthermore, it made our skin burn a bit-- and we don't even have sensitive skin. So no, thank you, but no thank you.
Product Review:
Nuxe Rêve de Miel Deliciously Nourishing Body Scrub (full size £20 for 175ml)
I was going with very low expectations for this body scrub. After all, my last Nuxe product was a fail. But testing is required, like it or not, so I decided to test it. As always, I do my scrubs first on a dry body (to reap the most benefits from the actual scrub). Now, this scrub is in a very thick honey consistency, and it didn't scrub at all on my dry body. At this moment, my expectations were lowered even more. Then, I decided to add some water. And this is where my thoughts on this product started to make a 180. Once you add water, it starts scrubbing! It's a light to medium scrub, so slightly weaker than I like. However, that's not even the best part. Once you rinse everything off and get out of the shower-- this is the true gem! Your skin is not only super soft, but it is super nourished! Like, I couldn't start touching myself (appropriately). I was shocked how amazing the nourishing effect! Wow!
