Blithe Pressed Serum Velvet Yam (50ml) (Korean beauty)
This is a combined serum/moisturiser product. Since we have dry skin, we use it as a serum only-- a hydrating serum, that is. It is formulated with 68.5% mountain yam extract, known for its protein-rich replenishing properties and sustaining hydration, without leaving skin heavy and greasy. A blend of light fermented oils and emollients, including olive, macadamia, argan, and shea butter, further nourish and protect from free radical damage. It looks and feels like a light moisturiser. We absolutely love products from Blithe (we have the other pressed serums from them as well). If you have normal to oily skin, this product is great as both a serum and moisturiser (2 in 1). For dry skins, we suggest using an additional, heavier moisturiser.
Blithe 8 Nourishing Beans Essence (150ml for $46)
This is a nourishing and hydrating essence (to be applied right after the toner). Made out of 8 different bean extracts, it also incorporates mini beads of vitamin E. Because of these beads, first put the essence onto the palm, warm it up between hands, and only then put it onto your face. That way, the beads will dissolve beforehand. We will be honest. This is not the most nourishing essence we have used. However, due to its watery texture, it gets into deeper layers of the skin, and we can definitely say that our skin doesn't feel dry lately.

Blithe Patting Splash Mask - Rejuvenating Purple Berry (200ml for $45)
When I first tried it, my instant reaction was "And?". I didn't notice any real difference in my skin. However, that was the first time. The second time I tried it, I did the whole "splashing" and "patting" thing for a bit longer-- maybe a whole minute. And after that, I can definitely say "Oh, I see what you are doing". So, you can see the video (which I re-uploaded again for your convenience) on how to do it. There is an alternative way of doing it in the shower, but I prefer this way. The result is indeed visible (to my surprise). The skin feels velvety soft and slightly firmer. I kind of couldn't stop touching my face. So, yes, I like it.

Blithe Vital Treatment 5 Energy Roots Essence ($42)
This is the sister essence of the Beans one from the same brand. Except, this one is based on roots (not hair roots, the roots that grow in the soil). 5 Energy Roots "works to awaken dull, depleted skin with 5 'energy' packed root extracts such as Red Ginseng that harmonize and balance the skin for an even, glowing complexion". Panax Ginseng Root Extract(11%), Platycodon Grandiflorum Root Extract(8.75%), Codonopsis Lanceolata Root Extract(8.75%), Nelumbo Nucifera (Indian Lotus) Root Extract(8.75%), Arctium Lappa (Burdock) Root Extract (8.75%). Personally, I don't see the glowing effect, but I feel that essence gives my face a healthy, slightly firmer, look. I can't say that I am head over heels, but it is an essence that I will continue incorporating into my routine. I truly enjoy it!
