Organic Flowers Eye Essence by Whamisa. Brightening Anti-Wrinkle. 30ml.
Korean beauty. White serum-y consistency. Korean Beauty is known for its use of facial essences (the liquid that you put after the toner). I have always wondered why there was no essence specifically designed for the under-eye area (have been looking for awhile). But now I found this and I am happy. Dear Korean Beauty, please give us more. I believe the product will last me some time as you don't need much at all. Although it is too soon to say whether it really has any anti-wrinkle effect (have only been using the product for 3weeks), it does leave my under eye area more hydrated.
Whamisa Hair Essence (120ml for around $40, or £25.50 in the UK)
We love this Korean brand. We are enjoying their skincare products, so we have also decided to give their hair care products a try. However, I was personally left underwhelmed. However, before we go in further, this is what Whamisa says about this product: "This lightweight, organic hair essence protects weak and damaged hair. Active ingredients include sweet flag, barley, sesame seed, oat kernel, soy and mung bean extracts to nourish hair and give it a healthy shine. Argan oil, olive oil, camellia oil, and aloe help moisturise, repair, and strengthen hair damaged by over-styling and environmental factors. Combined with our signature fermentation process and waterless formula for added benefits. Suitable for all hair types, especially beneficial for damaged hair". A lot of good words were used by Whamisa to describe a product that really doesn't hydrate and nourish the hair. When I first tried it, the hair came out a bit oily-- but then I read that this product also has a "natural styling" property. Can we please take out any styling properties out of an essence? If I wanted a styling product, I would not have bought this treatment. Furthermore, combing of hair with this product has not improved-- and for me, that's not a good sign. For this reason, we will not repurchase this product.
Whamisa Organic Seeds Hair Scalp Tonic (60ml for £23.50)
Whamisa on this product: "An organic tonic to nourish dry scalps and stimulate hair roots for healthy hair. 16 different botanical and fermented extracts help prevent dandruff, strengthen hair roots and combat hair loss. Active ingredients include oat and rice ferments and onion bulb extract, traditionally known to aid in stimulating hair growth. The tonic also contains menthol to control sebum production. Infused with natural rosewood and cedarwood essential oils to promote healthy hair and scalp. Suitable for all hair types, especially beneficial for dry scalp". First time I applied it, I thought it made my hair oily very fast. But that didn't happen with later uses. It's true-- dandruff is definitely not there, which is nice. But other than that, it is too early to tell. I think it does work, actually. But can't say much more than that. Will keep you updated!

Whamisa Organic Seeds Shampoo Dry Scalp (500ml for £33)
This is Whamisa's description: "Comprised of 28 carefully selected natural ingredients for healthy hair and scalp. Formulated with barley, soy and aloe extracts to deeply condition hair and moisturise the scalp. Whamisa Organic Seeds Shampoo also contains barley, soy bean, and oat ferments to strengthen hair. This gentle, organic shampoo, at pH 4.5, offers gentle cleansing and promotes healthier hair and scalp. Infused with hair strengthening natural cedarwood and sage essential oils for additional benefits". Yes, it is sulfate free. I will definitely not repurchase this product. No matter how intriguing the description is, it's just okay, but does not justify the price. I am very happy with the ginger shampoo from The Body Shop.
