Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 ++++ (80ml for $23)

This is a chemical sunscreen, so if you are not a fan of such, I totally understand. However, I love it, and will be repurchasing it for sure. This sunscreen has pushed Purito Unscented to place 2. Although they are very similar, I find that a) Klairs one makes my face even less oily-looking, and b) it has a slightly softer texture that I am enjoying.

Klairs Eye Awakening Gel (35ml for $24.50)

You know why testing a product for a good while is important before writing a review? Well, because of products like these. I didn't like this product at the beginning of my usage. I thought it was weak in its cooling effect, but after weeks of usage, my eye area started craving it. "You forgot to put the eye gel?...How dare you!", it would utter. The cooling sensation is not freezer-like, but it's there and very pleasant, especially in the mornings.

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop (35ml for $23)

This one is one of least favourite vitamin C serums. Quite frankly, I have now given it to my mum as this product is not suitable for my skin concerns. I mainly use Vitamin C for hyperpigmentation, and this serum is just too weak for that (5% concentration). So, I am no longer going to waste my time with it (one month was enough). Plus, it has an oily texture I simply don't like.

Klairs, dear Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask (90ml for $27)

Dear Klairs, What have you been thinking? Why did you call a product a "mask" when in fact it is not a mask? You had me confused and you didn't leave me with any instructions either. Why did I have to go through half of the internet to understand how to use this product, as every site I looked at had a slightly different description. Was it difficult to call it a "night mask" since this seems to be the most popular way of using it? Believe me, I tried using you as a simple mask for 30 minutes-- it was useless. My skin felt no different. I then used you as a night mask-- only one layer-- again, nothing exciting (not different to any other moisturiser). Then, I used you with 3 layers on-- in the morning, my skin analyser showed very very good results. Finally! But is it "it"? You are just a good deep moisturiser? Unlike what was claimed, I did not experience much brightening from you. Don't get me wrong, I love your playful bouncy texture. However I don't enjoy putting it on my face, because I first need to put you into my palm "to break you down". I feel like I have seen you before-- your older sister TBS Drops of Youth Bouncy Night Mask says hi, by the way. I know you are slightly cheaper, which of course is very nice, but breathtakingly special? Probably not. Sincerely yours,

(Dear) Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask ($3)

I really appreciate masks that are made out of 2 parts-- for the top and bottom part of the face, respectively. And this is that type of a mask. The key ingredients are ceramide; Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice; Panthenol; Allantoin; and Centella Asiatica Extract. I did find the sheet mask to be hydrating (I had it on for about 20min). There was still a lot of the essence left in the pouch. Overall, yes, it did mildly soothe the skin and hydrated it very well.
