Youth To The People Kale Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Cleanser (full size 237ml for $36)

I am sorry, but any cleanser above $20 needs to be super special for me to recommend it to you. I like this cleanser (it doesn't strip me of oils), I like the smell. But for me to recommend it to you? Not going to happen.

YTTP Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask ($48 for 59ml)

Let's make it clear: this is an overnight mask (not a normal mask that you put on for 30min-- believe me, I tried. Nothing happens). With a product rating of 4.7/5 on Sephora.com, either something must be totally right with this product, or something must be totally wrong with the 476 people who reviewed it there. Let's find out. Although it says that this product is suitable for all skin types, it also says that it is most suitable for dry skins. Let's turn to the company for explanation of what exactly it is supposed to do. The product is supposed to "deeply hydrate, plump and brighten with powerful, antioxidant-rich superberries and THD ascorbate, the latest clinically-proven form of stable Vitamin C. This formula helps to target dullness and uneven skin tone for brighter, more radiant skin. Formulated with four vital hydrators - Squalane, Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin, and Betaine - the Dream Mask plumps and locks in moisture to repair dehydrated skin". When I first tried it (properly, as an overnight mask), I put three layers on. Weirdly enough, I didn't feel the product to be hydrating when I first put it onto my skin. It felt almost a bit drying. Then, in the morning, the analyser didn't show good values either. Second time, I only put two layers on, and surprisingly, the analyser showed better numbers (I don't know why, but that's just a fact). After that, I put 2 layers plus a bit of a face oil on top. Now, to the results. Although, at first, when you put the product on, the face doesn't feel hydrated, when you wake up, your face looks plump, fresh, and most importantly, glowy. Super glowy. Like, you have been on-holiday-for-months-kind-of-glowy.. My face, right now, is more normal than dry, but I have a feeling that the hydration and moisturisation will not be enough for my skin in drier winter months. Hence, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to very dry skin types.
