Kosås Lipfuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm ($18)

I never thought I would say this, but I hate it. I hate almost everything about this product. The sleek design is probably the only positive thing. Hard to open the cap, the lip balm itself chips (is it old???), it smells like my heartburn lollies Rennie, the design of the interior balm shape -- huh? The shape is so oval that there is no way you use the whole surface of the balm, unless you are Angelina Jolie. The colour looks smudgy and makes Fresh lip balms look very good in comparison. Nope, not having it. Ohhh, and good luck closing the thing... The lip balm smudges the whole packaging.

Kosås Tinted Face Oil (30ml for £40/$42)

This is my first experience with Kosås-- never tried anything from them before. I was intrigued, a serum-like foundation? A tinted oil? I mean, I have dry skin, I thought, it should work well, I thought. I have to say, I would give A to Kosås for trying, but C for the actual execution. Like, it's still a "pass", but barely. Oily skins would probably give it a D. You have to shake it well before use. It's a tinted oil, literally, hence, very liquidy. Kosås says, use "4-6 drops for fuller coverage"-- excuse me, it's impossible to get "drops", it just flows out like a river! You really can only use your fingers to work it in into the skin. Layering is possible, but slightly tricky, but I have managed to achieve light-medium coverage. Here comes the trick that Kosås doesn't tell you. You have to set it with powder, quite a lot of powder! Otherwise, you will have a blob of oil on your face. The foundation stays for maximum 5hours, after that, not even the powder can hold it. It gets into all possible lines, it starts rubbing off super quickly. I mean, who needs this product? Honestly?
