Yves Rocher Body Lotion with Aloe Vera Pulp (full size 200ml for $10)

It might surprise you, but the tub on the photo says "Moisturizing Milk". When I started looking for the product on YR's website, it didn't exist, because it runs under the term "Body Lotion" (same ingredients, I cross-checked). Indeed, it is a lotion and not a milk. It has a nice subtle flowery smell. Unfortunately, for my liking, it sinks in too fast and doesn't leave a nourished-skin-feel, which is a minus. The skin doesn't feel dry, no, but it feels like it needs more (it starts singing "Gimme, gimme, more").

Yves Rocher Gentle Makeup Remover Sensitive Eyes (100ml for ca $8)

Contains organically grown cornflower. Designed for sensitive eyes, as the name suggests. It's a good eye makeup remover, but I am not super wowed. It did not sting or irritate the eyes, so I guess it does live up to its claim.

Product review:

Yves Rocher Raspberry Peppermint Hand Cream (30ml for $3.50)

With fair trade, organic Shea butter, Peppermint essential oil and Raspberry extract. Extremely light as a cream, which means that it is not suitable for winter months, even for those people who don't have dry hands. Nothing special, in all fairness, so I will not repurchase. I will probably put it in my travel bag or something.

Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetal (50ml for £12.20)

"The Zero Blemish Gel Cream, absorbs excess sebum and minimizes pores. Enriched with Baikal Powder, recognized for its rebalancing virtues, this gel cream smoothes imperfections and hydrates combination or oily skin for a full 24 hours", says Yves Rocher. No, it's not a gel per se. Imagine a cream balm with a light gel feel, that's more like it (it is much harder than a cream). It absorbs rather quickly into the skin, but doesn't make it dry. I am enjoying this cream, however, there is one problem: you should not put any facial oil on top of it. The cream starts rolling up in such a case. Overall, it is a good cream, and should be well-suited to combination skins.

Yves Rocher Nutri-Repair Hair Mask (150ml at $10, although I bought it for $5)

Hair treatment with jojoba oil and Shea butter. For dry hair. After shampooing, you apply this into your hair lengths, leave it in for 5mins and then rinse off well. The product consistency is that of a cream, and not of a butter. This is an honest product. It does exactly what it is supposed to. Nothing more, nothing less. You get nourished, softer, hair. That's it.

Product review:

Yves Rocher Ultra Rich Cleansing Cream (125ml, in Sweden it costs $14 I bought it for $9.50 as it was on offer), while in the US, it costs $20)

This is an oil based cleanser for the first step of the double cleansing routine. This non-foaming cream-in-oil removes makeup and cleanses the most challenging skin. Its cream-in-oil texture is non-foaming and sulfate-free. With 1,000 Roses‘ Blossom Oil. I highly recommend this product. It is cheaper than any other cleansing balm but performs the same (i.e. very well). Traces of mascara-- gone. Does not feel suffocating. Again, a great product.

Yves Rocher Express Eye Makeup Remover (100ml for $10)

This is a bi-phase formula that is as soft as it is effective, the PUR BLEUET Express Eye Makeup Remover eliminates all traces of eye makeup, even waterproof in a single step without leaving an oily film behind. Perfectly removes makeup and leaves the eye contour soothed. And all of that is true. It's a wonderful product. Get it. Get two.

Product review:

Yves Rocher Nourishing Lip Balm - Shea ($5)

"With its creamy texture made with Shea butter and Macadamia oil, the Nourishing Lip Balm - Shea repairs and soothes dry lips and leaves them feeling instantly comfortable", according to Yves Rocher. There are two things I did not like about this lip balm: a) the smell (it's kind of fake); b) the actual effect. It glides beautifully onto the lips, however, the lips don't feel nourished, they just feel oily. And that oil sits on top and doesn't really get deeper into the lips. I don't recommend this product, unfortunately.

Yves Rocher Long-Lasting Moisturizing Hand Cream (limited edition, $7)

On the photo, you see the limited edition version of the hand cream (60 year limited edition). Right now, Yves Rocher Sweden has this hand cream for $3, and yes, I have already purchased one more. Rich in polyphenols that protect the botanical from external aggressions, the Arnica chamissonis extract in the formula works to protect the hands. It is not the richest of hand creams-- I like it for day use. It makes hands soft, and leaves them not-dry for a long while (and I have dry hands). Overall, at this price point, it is really good.

Yves Rocher Nutri-Repair Hair Conditioner (150ml)

We bought ours for $3, but the normal price is around $6 (it is still on sale in Sweden). I have a lot of hair in need of constant nourishment, and surprisingly, this conditioner does a much better job than many high end brands. Enriched with Jojoba oil known for its ability to nourish the hair fiber. For this price, I am impressed. I am going to order some more now while they are on sale. Silicone free - Paraben free - Colorant free

Yves Rocher SPF30 Flawless Skin Foundation 10H (30ml for ca $27)

This foundation promises to cover blemishes, and give you an ultra-natural finish. Interestingly enough, on the Canadian website, the same foundation is promised to last up to 14h (says on the bottle), but not on mine bought in Sweden. Maybe, here, they kept it more realistic at 10h. First time, I applied this foundation with a sponge and I hated it. It was too thick and cakey. Second time, I applied two coats with a brush-- it was a lot better but would not dry down at all. Third time, I only applied one coat with the brush, and set it slightly at the chin line. And it worked marvelously. I can easily say that this foundation can last up to 14h, because at the 11h mark when I took it off, it still looked very decent. The only problem is that it settled into my smile lines, but since I didn't set it with powder, I could easily correct it. Overall, I moved from hating this foundation to appreciating it.
