Marc Jacobs Eye-conic Steel(etto) 820 Eye shadow palette ($49.50)
Are you ready? We are... extremely disappointed with this palette! The only good thing about this is that there is no fall out. First, the pan sizes are tiny. Like, the photo exaggerates the size. Second, the eye shadow comes out patchy on the lid and does not blend. Yes, it is soft to touch, but it doesn't blend on the lid! The only good thing is the second to last shade from the right, which is that sparkly purple. It's beautiful. But it's also rather sheer! I am almost angry at this palette, because I love the colours and the cool tone of it, but for that quality, the price is way too high.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara (full size $26)
"Major Drama. Oversized Lashes. Velvet-Like Look". That's the motto of this mascara according to Marc Jacobs. Let us take this statement apart. Major Drama: yes. That's correct. I created major drama when I tried it on and was left very disappointed. No animals have suffered from my drama, however. Seriously? Is this the best you can do? (Granted, NARS (anti)Climax mascara is worse). Oversized lashes: yes, you will need to glue on oversized fake lashes in order to give you volume when this mascara will fail you. Velvet-like look: maybe true, but after the Major Drama it caused us, I wouldn't care about this.
