Rosette Cleansing Paste (120g from $4)
I would say that this is one of Japanese skincare's cult products. Originally, it comes in an aluminum jar, but recently, the company also moved to create tube versions. Basically, it is a clay based cleanser, no artificial colours, no mineral oil. Honestly, and as unpatriotic as it may sound: this product is so-so. It's most suited for oily skins, as it does feel oil stripping on the face. I still want to buy the jar version when I go to Japan this year, but not because of quality -- largely because of how long this product has been on the Japanese market (I believe, more than 90 years)
