Elemis Pro-Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment
What a load of rubbish. Like, honestly. Who thought this product is worth an existence? It's a very thin colourless serum that can easily get into the eyes and sting like craaaazy. Totally unenjoyable. Plus, I haven't seen any effect from it.
Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner (200ml)
Remember, we "accidentally" hid a product from you today in a photo? Well, this is it. We have first purchased it in a travel size. And we wanted more of it, so, voilà. We love the smell of it. However, if you are like Tati Westbrook, you might want to pass on this toner. More for us! Retailing at $36 in the States , this beauty has extracts of apricot, quilla wood and sweet betty flower. They all soothe and harmonize the skin, leaving a fresh and radiant complexion. This is especially great for delicate skin. According to Elemis (which, by the way, is a British brand), the key ingredients and their benefits are: Perilla Seed Oil: Reduces irritation, calms and comforts. Soothes skin sensitivities Sweet Betty Flower: A natural cleansing and foaming agent. Tones, moisturizes and rebalances precious pH levels without the use of alcohol Saponins: Extracted from quillaja wood, saponins are a natural skin cleanser Elemis is free from artificial colours, parabens, SLS, SLES, DEA and mineral oils. Pros: really soothes and evens out the skin; beautiful scent Cons: has fragrance Would recommend? Like us, you should first try the mini size, and see if you like it. We did, so we purchased a big one.
Elemis White Flowers Eye&Lip Makeup Remover (125ml for £23)
Alright, let's go through what Elemis claims it will do: "This gentle yet effective bi-phase make-up remover instantly cleanses the delicate eye and lip area of all traces of make-up, including stubborn waterproof mascara. Formulated with White Peony extract to hydrate, cooling White Tea to soothe and Vitamin B5 to help condition lashes. It leaves skin feeling fresh and revitalised. Ophthalmologist tested. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers" And this is what the reality is: - it is bi-phase - does NOT instantly cleanse ALL makeup. You have to rub your delicate eye area for quite a while to get makeup off. And no, even after two fully soaked pads, there is mascara (not waterproof) left. - after rubbing your eye area, you certainly don't feel fresh and revitalised - not suitable for sensitive eyes as it can give you an itch Overall, we will not repurchase.
