Giorgio Armani Crema Nuda (in 1, 50ml for $200)

I have wanted to test this product for a long time-- after all, it's so damn expensive, so it must be good, right? Yeah, right... Before we get into the actual product, let me first tell you about how we managed to get a tester. We first went to Selfridges-- the Armani assistant categorically denied us a sample. He was like "we don't give out samples". Excuse me? Did we not look rich enough for you? Or there are people in their right mind who would buy a $200 product without trying it? Not nice, Armani, not nice. We then went to another "posh" department store (on a different day), and there, an Armani assistant was more than happy to give us a sample. Yeah, let me now believe that you don't give out samples. Anyway, back to the product. It is extremely sheer, it might mildly cover up your redness. It is indeed a tinted moisturiser-- and not that of a good one. Of course, I set it with powder, but I would give this product maximum 4 hours. I have taken the photos at the 6-7h mark: doesn't look pretty, does it? It rubs of, slides of, doesn't give any flawless-ness, accentuates lines and pores. For $200....what a joke!

Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Foundation (30ml for $64)

I have very high expectations for this foundation. After all, Jeffree Star and others love it. So let's see what the claims are: "POWER FABRIC combines full coverage with an ultra-light formula. Upon application, the texture melts into the skin, effectively blurring imperfections with an incredibly lightweight matte veil that feels like you're not wearing make-up at all. With a SPF 25 filter, power fabric offers effective daily UVA and UVB protection up to the promise of broad-spectrum SPF protection". This is the reality on my skin: - very matte finish - almost full coverage after 2 coats - 2 different setting powders set unevenly on the foundation - requires setting - chin area starts separating at the 3h mark - enlarges pores - creates dry patches - transferrable - sinks into smile lines And all for $64.
