Ole Henriksen PHAT Glow Facial (50ml for $49)
Humans, rejoice! Can't get DE Babyfacial? No problem. You can get PHAT and let me tell you one little secret (which no longer is a secret)... It's an amazing product! PHA molecules are a little bigger, so they don't penetrate the skin as deep but yet work effectively to cleanse the surface of the skin. They are, unlike their more vigorous sisters, suitable for sensitive skins. My experience: loved it from day one. It comes out as pink, you rub it until it turns white and leave for 15min. Then rinse off. Unlike other acids, there is only a very mild tingling which is just lovely. My face was super soft for days! The following product has been tested on animals, however. And by "animals", I mean my dad and mom, who both solemnly enjoyed this product.
Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer
This moisturizer officially comes in 4 different sizes-- we have the 15g one which retails for $12. With a whipped, silky texture, this bestselling oil-free moisturizer imparts essential moisture to the skin, even as it delivers radiance and helps improves the appearance of dark spots and discoloration-- according to Ole Henriksen. We periodically use it as our day moisturizer, however, we wouldn't say it's somehow unique or super-effective. It's just an average moisturizer, like hundreds of other average moisturizers. Oh, and we don't do average here.
Ole Henriksen Truth Serum (30ml at $49)
Wow, it smells of real ripe oranges! According to the Brand, it helps "brighten and firm the skin as it delivers all-day hydration". And you know, we personally have no clue whether it actually does it. Like, sure, when you put it on, it feels hydrating. Brightening is something our skin doesn't need as it is in a pretty good condition already. Can anyone explain the whole "brightening" claim to us (not just for this product, but generally in the skincare world)? Like, brightening is not the same as lightening, right? We are confused. We would understand under the eyes, but what is the effect on the face? Anyway, if you don't like perfume in your skincare, don't get this. We cannot claim this, but for collagen, we like the Mizon serum (it's more gooey). For hydration, probably also another product. There are cheaper alternatives for Vitamin C too. So this is not a product our hand reaches for, but definitely something that our nose loves.

Ole Henriksen Goodnight Glow Retin-ALT Sleeping Crème (50ml for $55)
A cream without Retinol but with a plant based alternative called "bakuchiol". Exfoliates the skin’s surface to allow fresher skin to glow through. Formulated with a powerful concentration of AHAs and bakuchiol, it fights all major signs of aging for an overnight skin transformation. It targets fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots, and firms. Edelweiss stem cells help firm and improve elasticity. The cream is light purple in colour and smells lightly berry-ish. It is hydrating, albeit probably not enough for extremely dry skins (for me, it was good). Oily skins might find it too much, potentially. I personally have not noticed much change in wrinkles, but my face does appear even and healthy in the morning. For those people whose skin cannot take retinol, this cream might be a good alternative. For me, however, it is just another cream.
